Let’s be honest: the era of truly big engines is behind us. We now live in a world of turbos and hybrid assistance. But back in March 2009, AMG in Affalterbach still had a very different idea.
They took the most compact saloon Mercedes had and, with the kind of brilliance only AMG could get away with, fitted it with the naturally aspirated 6.2-litre M156 V8.
The result is this C 63 AMG.
